Dunwoody: The History and Heritage 1821-2003
At the close of the Civil War, Major Charles A. Dunwody returned to his home in Roswell, Georgia. The devastation that awaited him was enormous. Undefeated in spirit and with renewed determination, he set out to lay the foundations for a new community. The history of Dunwoody is brought to life as never before seen through personal accounts and rare photographs. Watch as Dunwoody grows from a railroad town into a modern community, and discover that the spirit and pride of its earliest settlers is still felt by its residents today.
